Overview
In collaboration with the Kenya Forest Research Institution, our project provided crucial technical support to the Water Tower Programme, focusing on the restoration and protection of Kenya's critical ecosystems, including Mt. Elgon and Cherangany Hills. We deployed AI and Machine Learning to analyze satellite imagery, model climate trends, and predict environmental changes, providing a data-driven approach to ecosystem management. Our team also developed mobile and web GIS tools for real-time monitoring and created data-driven frameworks to improve productivity and sustainability. This initiative has significantly enhanced the capacity of local institutions and communities to manage their natural resources, fostering long-term climate resilience.
